Arteazen is a good boba option if you're around the UTC area or if you want a sit-down cafe experience. Most of the boba places at UTC are fast casual and crowded with limited seating, so I like coming here to spend time with friends or study. The drinks are tasty.There are plenty of options and specialty drinks. I'm picky about matcha, but I actually like the matcha drinks here. Their golden boba is really nice quality too. The space is small, bright, and clean. There is a parking lot. I've never had any complaints with the service either.

My old coworkers and I used to come to this place once a week. It always hit the spot! We all agreed it was our favorite wintermelon milk tea of all time. I've tried other items here and they've been okay, but you really can't go wrong with the wintermelon. Can confirm that it's still just as delicious a year later. This is a tiny shop, nestled in the CVS shopping center and it's often packed with UCSD students so you know it's good. It may be on the more expensive side, but they never skimp you on boba.

I had no information about this business before stopping by. I was out doing some errands and saw the word "tea" in their name and hoped they had bubble tea. Luckily I was correct! I arrived on a weekday and all tables were taken by what appeared to be college-aged students. I ordered four beverages that were pictured on their menu. Pros: -free parking lot shared with other businesses -it looks like they had a sticker that says they take UCSD's Triton Cash -there are a bunch of board games for people to play with -good variety of drinks to choose from on their menu -if you have multiple drink orders, they put it in a plastic bag for you to carry out Cons: -n/a Other: -when I went, there was one staff member who was both the cashier and the person who made the drinks. I felt so bad for her because besides having a packed store,there was a line that was starting to form behind me. She was a real trooper!!!

I got the Matcha Oreo Brûlée with lychee jelly with no adjustments to ice or sweetness. The drink in its entirety didn't have a strong matcha taste, but I think it's to be expected when mixed with other things especially when paired with other flavors of Oreo and lychee. Overall, it was sweet and yummy. I would want to try their matcha latte next time. The service was okay. Unfortunately, there was only one person working, but it wasn't busy so there was no long wait for anything. Attitude could be improved but interaction is minimal. The place itself is cute. There's games you can play if you go with friends or a partner. There's WiFi so you can get work done or study. There is also limited seating.

I came back a while ago after my bad boba experience and they definitely improved! The boba was a good balance of soft and chewy and the drink was great as well. I appreciate the owner for reaching out about my experience and was glad I gave them another chance. Service was great as usual and this place is pretty popular among students so it can get busy. However the wait isn't too long and it's a great place to get late night boba.

I appreciate that this boba shop is in my local plaza, and is walking distance from my home. They have good variety of tea flavors (milk or fruit) to choose from. I also like that I can customize the tea and sugar levels. For a quick boba stop they get the job done! The boba is typically fresh and bouncy. Their matcha milk tea or matcha latte is not my favorite in comparison to other tea shops. Their Assam Black tea is perfect. All of the workers are kind and efficient. A lot of local students enjoy coming here to study. The location is always tidy, with music playing in the background.
